From a young age I was introduced to knives as a important tool that if treated with respect will serve you well for a life time.
Some knives have something special about them either its origin of manufacture or a family heirloom passed down through generations.
Like most people I have bought a couple of factory produced knives but always thought that there was an element missing from the knife.
In September of 2015 I complete a fixed blade course at Herbst knives-making academy and a Linerlock course at 3legdogknives (January 2019) South Africa.
This started my adventure in knive making. I started out by building a diy beld grinder and other machinery needed.
I am a part time maker striving to improve my skill level and equipment at every possible opportunity.
